John Marzano

John Marzano, a former Major League catcher who most recently served as an engaging host of the "Leading Off" show on MLB.com, died this weekend at his home in South Philadelphia, apparently after taking a fall down a flight of stairs and possibly after suffering a heart attack. He was 45.

John was a dear friend to many, a family man to many, and we are shocked and saddened by his sudden passing. This website will serve as a tribute to John the man, the husband, the father, the friend, and the hardest working MLB player ever. This site used to be the home for his Baseball Academy, and it will live on. As will John.
